The process

How the work runs.

The standalone exterior detail is what most people call a wash but shouldn't. Foam pre-soak lifts loose grit, then a two-bucket contact wash with clean pads. Iron fallout gets chemically removed. Wheels and wells are cleaned separately from the paint. Finished with a machine-applied sealant that lasts months, not weeks.

What's included

  • Foam pre-wash and two-bucket contact wash
  • Iron and tar decontamination
  • Wheels, wells, and tires cleaned
  • Machine-applied sealant for months of protection
Common questions

The objections, answered.

Written from what people actually ask before booking exterior detail. Serving Nassau County and the surrounding towns.

How is this different from a thirty dollar car wash?

A tunnel wash drags the same media across every car that came through before yours. An exterior detail is an hour of hand work starting at $85, with the wheels and wells cleaned separately from the paint so brake dust and road grime never get carried onto the panels. And it happens at your place, not in a queue.

Why are the wheels done separately from the paint?

Because brake dust and road grime are the dirtiest things on the car. Wheels and wells get cleaned separately from the paint so none of that gets dragged across your panels partway through the job. It is a sequencing decision, and it is one of the reasons an hour of detailing is not the same thing as a quick rinse.

Will you need to use my hose or my outlets?

No. We arrive self-contained, so nothing runs off your hose and nothing runs off your outlets. The water and the power both come with us on the truck. That is what makes an exterior detail possible in a driveway, at a dock, or at a marina slip without anything being arranged in advance on your end.

How long will it take and what does it cost?

About an hour, starting at $85. That covers the full exterior, plus the wheels and wells cleaned separately from the paint. Because we are fully mobile and bring our own water and power, that hour gets spent at your driveway, dock, or marina anywhere in Nassau County rather than in somebody's queue.

Do I need to be home while you work?

We need access to the vehicle at your driveway, dock, or marina. Past that, the visit runs about an hour and we are entirely self-contained with our own water and power, so there is nothing for you to plug in, hook up, or stand and supervise. There is no drop-off and no shop visit.
